USD 230 has been shorted between $20,098,884 and $25,953,818 since July of 2006. During this same period of time the community, parents, and school board have requested an increase in educational programming, activities, and supports. In addition, we have seen significant growth more than doubling the student population and more than doubling our school buildings and facilities.
Below is a brief description of the components that make up these numbers.
USD 230 voters removed Capital Outlay from July 2006 - June 2016 which reduced USD230's income from $5,800,000 (4 mils) - $11,700,000 (8 mils) over those 10 years.
