While the district has been shorted over $20 million of the past 18 years, we have been had significant growth and increases in services. Below are a few examples of these increases.

Added 750 kW solar array at Spring Hill High School providing clean energy, utility savings, and an education opportunity for students
Successful water mitigation program at several locations which saved the district money on wastewater costs
Developed an online weekly safety program for all Facilities Department staff
Developed an online SDS site allowing staff to more readily look up safety data sheets without the hassle of looking through a large binder
Implemented vehicle program through Enterprise providing students and staff with newer, safer, up to date vehicles for transportation
Developed vehicle maintenance program for school district's fleet vehicles keeping vehicles running well and safe
Improved snow removal operations
Over 1250 fulfilled Facility Use Requests (even with a stop to all facility use request for well over a year due to Covid)
Even with a major increase of facilities (252,046 square feet increase over 5 years) maintained the same staffing levels within the Facilities Department until 2024
Supported Real World learning student involved projects, including Disc golf at SHMS, Outdoor learning area at SHMS, and Solar array at SHHS
Continued to provide well maintained and appealing buildings and grounds throughout the district
Devices - Added a 1 to 1 in FY 2015 at secondary level, elementary school carts in FY 2016.

Buildings - Doubled the number of schools we support, which means twice as much tech like: security cameras, card access, A/V equipment, swiches, wireless access points, telephones, printers, copiers.
